How it works
Drop your PDF
Drag in a statement or pick a file. Text-based PDFs are read locally — nothing is uploaded.
We reconstruct the table
Columns are detected and each transaction is parsed: dates, descriptions, debits, credits and balance.
Review & fix
The running balance is reconciled and any suspect row is highlighted in an editable grid.
Download
Export a clean .xlsx or CSV, ready for Excel, QuickBooks or Xero.
Built for accuracy and privacy
Balance reconciliation
Most converters just dump rows. We walk the running balance and tie debits/credits to the ending balance, so you know the data is complete.
Your data stays yours
Digital statements are parsed with in-browser JavaScript. We never receive or store the file or its transactions.
Scanned & image PDFs
On-device OCR recovers text from scans, with an AI vision fallback for low-quality pages.
Editable preview
Fix any mis-read cell before you export. Edits flow straight into your download.
Convert your bank’s statement
Tuned for major banks, with a generic parser for everyone else.
By format: PDF Bank Statement to Excel · PDF Bank Statement to CSV · Scanned Bank Statement to Excel · Credit Card Statement to Excel
Frequently asked questions
Is my bank statement uploaded anywhere?
No. Digital (text-based) PDFs are parsed entirely in your browser using JavaScript — the file never leaves your device and we never store it. Only individual page images of scanned statements are sent for OCR, and only when on-device OCR confidence is low.
Which banks are supported?
We ship tuned parsers for major banks (Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, Capital One, U.S. Bank, PNC, Truist, Amex, Discover) and a robust generic parser that handles almost any other bank or credit-card statement layout.
What about scanned statements?
Scanned/image PDFs are run through on-device OCR (Tesseract). For low-quality pages, an optional AI vision pass improves accuracy. Reconciliation flags any row that may have been misread so you can fix it before export.
How accurate is the conversion?
Every conversion runs a balance reconciliation: it walks the running balance and checks that debits and credits tie out to the statement’s ending balance. A green “Reconciled” badge means the math checks out; amber means a row needs review.
What formats can I download?
A clean Excel (.xlsx) workbook with a Transactions sheet and a Summary sheet, plus a CSV that imports directly into QuickBooks, Xero, Wave or Excel.
